I make this ham every year with a spiral ham and it is delicious. I still score the outside like the recipe says. If you bought a spiral ham on accident, no worries, it's even better that way!

I will NEVER have a spiral ham again!!! Once you make this, you will never go back! So easy and fool proof. The taste is heaven on a plate! The ham is so tender you can cut it with a fork. The glaze is not too sweet at all and goes perfectly with the red potatoes. Leftovers are awesome with eggs in the morning. I will make this all year long. Thanks for a wonderful recipe Tyler!!

I signed up just so I could review this recipe, it is that good! The first time I made it I followed it exactly and used tangerines, the next time I used oranges and it was just as good. I think for non-special occasions I might try skipping the extra cup of water and halve the butter for the glaze and see how it goes. Cutting back on the fat and time it takes to reduce it would be nice. I bet it would still be awesome. Best ham I have ever had.

This was absolutely the "BEST" tasting ham I've ever had and the carrots were melt in your mouth good. I've finally found the ultimate ham recipe that everyone absolutely loves. Thank you Tyler for an amazing recipe.

I made this recipe about 6 years ago for Easter and since then my friends have been asking me to make this ham for them (I even had someone pay me $50 to make it for them. I will be making it again this year for Christmas at the request of a dinner guest. : I don't remember ham being this good growing up.
