This recipe was simple and tasted great. These wings were a hit at my Super Bowl party. Baking the wings for 30 minutes didnt get them as crispy as I like them, so I popped them in the broiler for a little extra time to get a bit more crispy. Next time, I think I will just broil them from the beginning.

I'll be honest and say, I make good teriyaki. This may prejudice me.

This recipe was easy to execute and I would recommend it to those ill at ease with the kitchen.

I did use low salt Soy, but it was all still a bit too salty for the real need of the flavors to coat and enhance the chicken.

I felt the Hoisin added viscosity and that was good. I think reducing two cups of home made chicken broth to 1/2 a cup and add it would help with flavor and texture. (This is unfair to the fledgeling cook.

I served dirty rice and a salad with the dinner.

I did double this recipe to freeze and have it easyi later.

The aroma almost had a wonderful wafting of wine...the fermentation in the Hoisin, I am guessing.

I used a brand know best for cranberry as the grapefruite juice (100% juice but I felt a lack of acidity in the finished product.

By all means, try this recipe.

    Eat well my friends.

We loved the wings, and the sauce. I made them with my grown girls at the cottage. However, had I not seen the show I wouldn't have known to cook down the sauce, etc. My girls are novice cooks so specific directions are really important. I've noticed this in a few other episodes. The printed recipe differs from the show.
