    This was delicious chicken! I added a few things like a tablespoon of red pepper flakes to both the brine and sauce, we like things with a kick, and a sprig of rosemary to the brine and 2 to the thyme bundle. I grow herbs in my backyard so I had it on hand but you can totally omit it. We cooked it entirely on the grill just basting lightly throughout the cooking process. I mean, how can you call it bbq chicken if it only spends 10 minutes on a grill. It is definitely a new staple recipe in our house.

    Delicious and easy!! I found the cumin flavor to be strong for my tastes so I would use a bit less next time but my guests loved it just the way it was. I also used bone in breasts, thighs and drumsticks but still used Tyler's brining and grilling/baking method. Turned out wonderful. A must try recipe!

    Did not get a chance to make the barbecue sauce (opted for a bottled sauce due to time constraints, but I did make and use the brine recipe. FANTASTIC! It really added to the moistness and delicious taste of the chicken. Great recipe!

    I love this recipe. I made this chicken (legs and thighs though for a group of friends last summer. I thought I had made WAY too much food for 8 people and thought my partner and I were going to have to eat it for the next 2 days but it was all gone 40 pieces of chicken!!!!! I was shocked. Everyone raved about it. They talked about that chicken it seemed for 6 months! I recommend this for anyone who wants to make a great meal! Plus it is so easy!!!

    This was my first attempt at homemade barbecue sauced chicken, and I was pleasantly surprised with the positive result. I cooked for me, my lady, and our three boys. All loved the sauce. I had to make a couple substitutions: honey for molasses, 1 Tbsp regular mustard for 1 Tsp dry mustard, and legs for legs+thighs but it worked out.

    Don't know how it would be to the exact recipe, but I'm figuring the honey is what made it come out sweet. One of the best sweet barbecue sauces I've had.
