    This is a fabulous recipe. I've done it as written, and later per my own preferences. I'm delighted that the recipe, especially the glazing sauce, handles variations so well. I also appreciate having the option to "grill" chicken indoors. This is my go-to recipe for indoor barbecued chicken. Even my husband, who usually only eats grilled ribs, loved this recipe. Many thanks, Tyler. This is a winner. I've varied the sauce several times, sometimes leaning toward more of a Mexican mole rub and sauce, and it's delicious every time.

    OMG!!! My husband and I grill chicken alot and this is the very best BBQ chicken recipe ever!! The chicken is juicy and tender and the sauce is sticky and delicious! Thanks so much Tyler!!!!

    Amazing and easy like others I'd never brine chicken or anything else for that matter before and it makes a heck of a difference the chicken was nice and juicy and so soft it melted in your mouth. Now I didn't have thyme fresh or dried so I just grab poultry seasoning and it tastes delicioso. I also added some old bay seasoning to sub. for the thyme & liquid smoke to the sauce just to kick it up a notch maybe next time I'll use 2 pieces of bacon to enhance the smokey flavor and omit the liquid smoke. Over all it was a wonderful experience I wont ever cook chicken again without brine it first. Thanks a lot Tyler Florence

    I've never appreciated BBQ chicken whether at a restaurant or elsewhere but this is now my favorite...and I made it! The brine makes all the difference and the sauce is delish. Awesome recipe and I didn't change a thing. Enjoy!

    The way this chicken was prepared made the meat fall off the bone! Brineing that meat was such a great idea! Not to mention the BBQ sauce was awesome! Make sure you go through all the steps to get this just right, don't want to miss out on this one!!!

    Great recipe!! I used chicken breast with bone in and also used thighs. I haven't ever brined meat before; it made a huge difference, the meat was so juicy and tender. I cooked this for a pre-fathers day dinner for my father-in-law and my family and they all loved it..The chicken was very moist however you must put aside some of the bbq sauce to pour over the meat because the inside is tasty but the bbq sauce makes it awesome!!! We also cooked up some red,yellow and green peppers and zuchinni and dipped them in the sauce.....awesome!!!!

    Made this a few days ago with a whole cut up chicken, needless to say there was no bird leftover! Wasn't impressed with the BBQ sauce by itself, but once it got on the chicken it was amazingly good!! Yummy!! :

    What's not to love. The chicken was moist & the sauce was very flavorful. I grilled outside & then transferred to the oven. I'm not a skilled griller to do the whole thing outside. Will definately make it again.

    This is the best Barbecued sauce recipe!!!!!!!...I got great reviews on my chicken this Memorial Day, right now I have more chicken brining for tomorrow...The sauce was a big hit!!!!!!!!..
