    Made this a few days ago with a whole cut up chicken, needless to say there was no bird leftover! Wasn't impressed with the BBQ sauce by itself, but once it got on the chicken it was amazingly good!! Yummy!! :

    What's not to love. The chicken was moist & the sauce was very flavorful. I grilled outside & then transferred to the oven. I'm not a skilled griller to do the whole thing outside. Will definately make it again.

    This is the best Barbecued sauce recipe!!!!!!!...I got great reviews on my chicken this Memorial Day, right now I have more chicken brining for tomorrow...The sauce was a big hit!!!!!!!!..

    How good is this recipe? I followed the brine process, put the chicken on the grill, the grill caught on fire (went to 600 degrees!, the chicken was torched. Well, I cleaned it up a little, slathered it with BBQ sauce and followed the rest of the oven process and the family WENT CRAZY for it.

    This was amazing!! I made it for quite a few people and it was a huge hit. Like the previous reviewer I had made my own sauce and had not found one that was worth the trouble until now. Thanks.

    I did the recipe exactly as written except I used boneless chicken breast {my family doesn't care for dark meat} and cooked it all on the grill. The BBQ sauce is the only one I have ever made from scratch that I like, in fact we all did. The chicken soaked in the brine overnight which was fantastic and well worth the effort. This definitely is the ultimate barbecued chicken, thank's Tyler!

    im 17 with little cooking experience and made this dish with ease. My family said it was the best bbq chicken they have ever tasted. Would definitely recommend it!!!

    When it was all said and done I can understand why Tyler Florence’s Ultimate Barbequed Chicken recipe has earned bragging rights not to mention a whopping 274 positive reader reviews on the Food Network. There’s a reason why it’s called the Ultimate. IMO there’s nothing else I’ve tasted home made or store bought that comes close. It has an insidious addictive flavor that comes alive after a couple days in the fridge and never seems to make it to the dinner table because I can’t resist grabbing a chilled thigh at mid morning or heating some up along with yellow rice in the microwave for lunch.

    This is an awesome recipe. Make it twice already and the family devour it. It does require quite a few steps to get to the result but seeing the empty plate is well worth it. Highly recommended. Thanks Tyler. Hope to get a chance to use "all" your recipe.
