Used this recipe twice for large crowds. What a delicious easy way to go! Added extra chicken and adjusted the recipe accordingly, the sauce is a favorite for all tastes, and yes you can adjust if you like spicier. When feeding all ages, leave it alone. I fixed with Tyler's sauce and the next time store favorite, and actually Tyler's was the winner. Fix it ahead and then the day of prep is no big thing. The grill time DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE so don't side step it. Grill temp is important to get the char and crispness, This is a great go to for summer entertaining.

Very awesome bbq sauce, but I added cayenne pepper for a little heat. Thanks to Tyler for another 'ultimate' recipe. Favorite of my family is still his 'Ultimate Fish Tacos'.

I made this for a large picnic BBQ. It made life so easy since I didn't have to stand at the grill the entire time. Leftovers were soooo flavorful the next day. I did spice up the sauce after reading a few reviews and it was great.

I am a relatively new (last summer convert to brining chicken. I can't believe how moist the chicken is. Tyler's recipes are no fail!

My new BBQ sauce. And I have made quite a few...throwing the other recipes away. Need to try the whole recipe again. The chicken diluted the delicious sauce! Grilling didn't seem to add anything to the chicken. Didn't get the hard candied shell; may need to cook a bit longer. But its the best BBQ sauce I've ever eaten, let alone made. Oh, thanks to the reviews I did use 2 slices bacon, diced small. And used only 2T brown sugar plus 2T honey.

I was surprised at how this turned out after reading the rave reviews. The chicken was very moist, but the sauce was just OK. If I were to ever try it again, I'd have to add some cayenne or something to give it some zip. It is basically dressed up ketchup and, honestly, that's what it tastes like to me. It was OK, but I was disappointed.
