The sauce is great! I used homemade preserves from a fruit stand. So they weren't too sweet.

I always change a sauce recipe a little bit after I taste it. This BBQ sauce I left alone. It is awesome!

This is THE BEST bbq sauce ever. And it's so easy to make!

The only thing is the ribs weren't completely cooked through on one end and it wasn't as tender as I thought it would be after two hours of baking. I think next time I'll leave them in for an extra 45 minutes or so.

But that bbq sauce... I'l be making that for EVERYTHING from now on.

I followed the Ultimate Barbecued Ribs recipe to precision. The ribs were not tender and were virtually inedible due to fat that did not bake off. The cook time in the recipe summary is 1 hour and 30 minutes which is wrong based on the directions in the recipe itself. Low and slow, for this recipe, did not work. I am confused that the directions for the recipe are inadequate and wrong.

I didn't even bother with the kitchen twine -- just rendered the bacon on its own for a few minutes, then added the thyme for another minute or two, then continued with the rest of the recipe. Also cooked the meat about a half hour longer, as many of the reviewers said the time given in the recipe wasn't long enough. Sauce WAS a little sweet (can definitely taste the peach if you know it's in there but VERY good. Tender meat.

i made this recipe according to tyler's instructions; they were the best i've ever had in my life. my husband who is kinda picky when it comes to ribs couldn't believe it--they were literally falling off the bone. the sauce was wonderful; we saved the extra for chicken, although we could have spooned it up like soup, it was that good. when i saw tyler make the dish on tv, i came out of my chair like a polaris missile because they looked so delish--and they certainly are. the only ribs i'll ever make again. can't wait to try them on a crowd.

Very easy and delicious. I actually kept my ribs in for an hour longer before putting any sauce on and then threw them on the grill for a few minutes at the end. Best rib recipe yet. I will be making these again and again.

Well, there's nothing barbequed about these ribs. If you like crock pot style ribs w/ a crunch, this recipe will do just fine. However, in my opinion good ribs need to cook on a smoker for about 6 hours at about 180* to bring the best out of them.
