I meant to cook them longer than the recipe states but started out too late and cooked them as per the recipe. They were delicious, although it would not have hurt to cook them an extra half hour or more. My husband loved the sauce alhtough it was a little sweet for me.. Will definitely make again - ISince the bacon was out I made some real bacon bits for our baked potato - it was a fabulous meal

This is the best sauce ever! I have made this recipe 3 times now and my family raves about it! I have been told that I make the best ribs, the sauce taste so good. I would advise anyone to try this recipe!
The Cumin and paprika give the flavor such wonderful depth!
Just made them for a Labor Day weekend dinner and the ribs were the hit of the party!
You can't miss with this recipe!
    Thanks Tyler!

I have a favorite Michael Chiarello rib recipe that never fails me. So why did I try this one? The sauce is pretty good, but the ribs need a lot more cooking time. Overall a disappointing waste of baby back ribs.

The BBQ sauce is awesome. Instead of broiling at the end, I charcoal grilled them for 5 minutes on each side.

I'm about to make ribs again and this is the best and easiest recipe I've found. In fact, most of Tyler's Ultimate recipes are excellent. I did tweek it a little by adding some chipolte, not much though. I extended the cooking time to an extra half hour before zapping them under the broiler.

My boyfriend and I made these ribs last night and we have nothing but praise for this recipe! The bacon-wrapped-thyme was a nice treat and the BBQ sauce definitely competes with some family recipes.

In the all alcohol consuming spirit of Memorial Day Weekend, we added dark rum to the BBQ sauce 10 minutes before taking it off the stove. DELICIOUS! Obviously you can add as much rum as you like, but my advice is to start with half a jigger adding no more than one full shot. Stir frequently and enjoy!

Delicious. I made them for a Memorial weekend party along with hamburgers, fajitas, and bbq chicken and these were the first to go. Made them along with Ina Garten's potato salad, which was delicious as well. I made the bbq sauce the night before to save some time the day of. 3 hours of cooking time was perfect. I agree with Bernard: "Best ribs ever. One problem is that the recipe is not well written. On the show the ribs were basted three times over one and one half hours. The total cooking time is three hours. It should read baster every one half hour for one and one half hours."

Love the ribs and I've done it many times. Yes, you gotta cook your ribs longer.. I use a dry rub for the meat. Nothing too strong but enough to give it a taste. For the sauce, I add some liquid smoke, (about 1 tsp, and don't put cumin in but instead add some chipotle pepper minced (about a 1tbsp spoon. So far my favourite!!!!

I made this sauce over the weekend for baby back ribs. I thought it was a bit sweet like it was for baked beans so I added about 1/4 T of ground chipotle chile from Spice Islands. It added the perfect amount of smoked flavor. I have a new favorite BBQ sauce.

i only used one piece of bacon, and I used sugar free preserves and splenda brown sugar to make these eatable for diabetics. We loved them! My father said they reminded him of St Louis Ribs, and he couldn't believe I had made the sauce!
