I made this dish for a special dinner with my husband. Best dish I have ever made, and I followed the recipe exactly! It does take a couple of hours but it is worth every minute.

This recipe is absolute perfection! I made it last year for New Years Eve and am making it for Christmas dinner this year! My family went crazy over it! There isn't a single thing I would change! My mouth is watering after reading the recipe again, I can't wait for Christmas! The fingerling potatoes accompany the Wellington beautifully. Tyler really knocked it out of the ball park with this!

I made this dish last Christmas. Not only was it beautiful but absolutely superb. The best beef recipe I have ever had. My family are not real beef eaters but everyone requested this every Christmas, some even asked for it on their birthdays! Of course I said "No way this is a once a year dish" A lot of work but well worth it. The sauce was divine!

Tyler has kicked this one out of the park, I have done this with pork tenderloin and with beef tenderloin. Everyone that has tasted this both ways, LOVED it. I have been asked several times to be someones personal chef. I'm a truck driver, who loves to cook!!

Awesome recipe---everyone thinks I'm some type of chef now that I pulled that off. Only change I will make next time is less mushrooms. The duxelles were little too moist. But an A even for an amateur chef.

Simply Amazing. It was worth every second, and the leftovers were just as good! Totally forgot to make the sauce, it was NOT missed. This is the new special occasion dinner in my house...I might even make one to go along with the Turkey on Thanksgiving!! YUM!!!!
