This is the best cheesecake recipe that I have tried so far. Made four of them for a party, two strawberry topped and two blueberry topped. Everyone loved them, the taste, the creamy texture and the crust. One thing though, make sure you have some heavy duty foil on hand to wrap around the pan so no water seeps into the crust, regular foil is not wide enough. Fortunately I have some very good pans that seal excellently. Make this for special occasions and from my experience I believe your guest will love it. You really can't go wrong with Tyler's recipes - he is an awesome chef.

This is the best cheesecake recipe ever! My family requests this cheesecake for every holiday/get-together we have. I follow the directions exactly except for the baking time. I have to bake my cheesecake for at least one hour. The first time I made this recipe I baked it for 45 minutes as instructed and it was under done. I have tried other cheesecake recipes but I keep coming back to this one. I've also make this with strawberries instead of blueberries.

Attempted this cheesecake twice. It doesn't matter how long I baked it, it would never set. I followed the directions exactly and it was completely runny. Try this before you make it for a holiday party or other event. I was embarrased! It tastes delightful though, so I wish I could figure out how to make it set.

Followed directions to a "T" and the it was a runny mess! Saw a review after the fact to bake 1 hr and 20 minutes. This recipe needs to be amended-ovens don't vary that much!

Flavor was good but it did not come out with what I would think is cheescake texture. I am sure it is something in the process, not Tyler or his recipe but if so many folks had similar problems there might be something missing in translation. I did give it extra 10 minutes in oven, then turned oven off and let stay in oven, it was still a bit jiggley but firmed up in fridge. Again, great flavor but shouldn't be so many folks having trouble. Oven temps do vary but can't imagine too much else if recipe is followed.
