This cheesecake was okay, it turned out fine , however i was disappointed it was not denser, i chilled it for over 24 hrs and topped it with fresh blackberries. i guess i just prefer a more traditional new york style cheesecake. It reminded me of a faux cheesecake i used to make as a kid with cream cheese, lemon juice ect., called cherry cheese pie. anyway, if you like a softer cheesecake this is the one.

This is THE best cheesecake I've ever had or made! The last time I made this I used a 10 inch springform pan, actually boiled the water as the recipes says to do, turned the oven off and left the cheesecake in for an extra 10 minutes. Perfection. The top doesn't crack either! WHOO-HOO! Sign me "Tyler's Ultimate Believer"!

This was the first cheesecake I ever made and it turned out great. I cooked it for an hour and half to make it firmer, and I left it in the fridge overnight, it was so good you don't even need topping!

I have been perfecting my skills and techniques regarding this cheesecake for the last 4 years. I can make it at a moments notice and the results and reactions each time are wonderful. I now have family, friends, and co-workers requesting this for any special occasion, from birthdays, to baby showers.

I have even found that the compote recipe is delicious with raspberries, strawberries, and blackberries.

    I highly recommend this recipe.

This was made by me when my niece requested blueberry cheesecake for her birthday. I was nervous because I've not had great success with cheesecakes before.
It was easy and was definitely the hit of the party.
Thank you Tyler Florence, this recipe goes into my permanent file!!!

this cheesecake was wonderful! very smooth and not too sweet. the blueberry topping finished it off perfectly. after refrigeration, i took it out about an hour before actually cutting into it, which was a mistake. it was loose. but after refrigeration, it firmed back up and was lovely again.

I found this recipe in the Food Network Favorites cookbook and decided to try making it for a New Year's Eve party. It was my first time ever making home-made cheesecake and it turned out beautifully! The best thing about this cheesecake is it's texture. Instead of being thick and heavy like most, it is very smooth and creamy. And the topping is superb - not too sweet, it's the perfect compliment. Even though it does take quite a bit of time to prepare, it's not a difficult recipe. And the time is definitely worth it! I've gotten many rave reviews and it's a sure-fire way to impress your family and friends!
