My husband wanted a cheesecake for Father's Day and based on the reviews, I chose this recipe. I almost cooked the cheesecake longer because it was really jiggly in the middle but went with Tyler's cooking time and I think that was a mistake. It tasted ok, but it didn't get firm like I expect a cheesecake to do. Or maybe it is supposed to be more creamy than firm? It also didn't have that cheesecake taste to us. I think what we like is a New York style cheesecake and this wasn't it. Loved the topping, though. All in all, we liked it but it either needed to be cooked longer or less sour cream for our taste.

I tried this blueberry cheesecake recipe for the first time and it turned out GREAT! I added 2 tsp of grand marnier to the warm blueberry topping and it came out very tasty. Will definitely try this again for my mother-in-law's 72nd birthday. Thanks Tyler!

I love cheesecakes, and I have tried so many different recipes. This is by far the very best I've ever tried. Usually I modify a recipe after making it once, but there is nothing I would change about this. Occassionally I change the topping from blueberry to strawberry or some other fruit, but the cheesecake itself is superb!

I made this cheesecake for X-Mas this year and WOW cant say enough about how great it was. I was a super star! Followed the recipe as written and had no problems. I decided to make them in miniature this past week for an event I was attending and didnt want to have to mess with serving and clean up so I used a muffin tin and sprayed it then lined it with paper muffin liners. I didnt have enough graham crackers for the whole recipe so I did half of them with graham cracker crust and half of them using vanilla wafers and just followed the same recipe of the crust. WOW turned out SOOO good! I cooked them for 20 minutes and did not use the water bath since they dont cook for very long. They were fantastic!!!! I made some putting a mini reese cup by just setting it in the middle of the formed crust and than topping it with the cream cheese mixture. I made some just plain and then after baking topped them with either a strawberry topping or a blueberry topping. They were beyond great so either way you make this wonderful recipe you wont be sorry!

NO WORRIES !! : After reading all the reviews for the last five years I thought I would tackle this ! I followed Tylers directions for the ingredience and the making of this masterpiece but with the cooking I did use some of the reviews to help me with the cooking. I baked it for 50 minutes on 325 and did have it sitting in a hot water bath as it baked. After 50 minutes I turned the oven off and put a wooden spoon in the door for a half an hour as the oven cooled off. Then I took the cake out of the bath and set in on the counter for 30 more minutes to cool more. Following this I put it in the refridge for 7 hours. Cut it with a warm thin spatula and WOW...didn't need anything! Fruit sauce would only enhance this! Follow the directions and I know you will make this again!
