Pulled this one out for Lent today. Need creative stuff for my "non-fish-lovin" kids. They both ate this one without complaining! I used a nice thick piece of cod instead of the mahi. I also put the cabbage right into the mango salsa, instead of radish (not radish season in Michigan yet. My son's only comment was that he would have preferred lemon instead of lime.
    A
(also, I did not use the spicy mayo, kids don't like it.

Overall a good one, and quick and easy! I loved the crunchy "fish sticks."

I wish there was an option of 7 stars! This is coming from a person that is extremely picky about food......"These tacos changed my opinion about fish tacos" was the remark from my husband who hates fish tacos. It was so so good that I ended up making another batch again for second round of dinner....and wished I could eat more...talk about food coma - like another reviewer said! I haven't had such a satisfactory meal in a long long time. The only change I made was I used walleye fish that my husband brought back from his fishing trip. Also, I might skip the EVOO from the salsa if I am to sit and eat the salsa, although it did not make much differnce in the tacos....
Honestly, this is the first time I ate fish tacos and I don't think I will ever be able to eat'em anywhere else...it HAS to be homemade thanks to Tyler Florence!!! LOVE IT

It's all about the pink chili mayo! I make this recipe easy on myself. A bag of coleslaw mix, toss it w/ the pink chili mayo, sprinkle some blackening seasoning on talapia filets, pan sear them, serve the fish on warm corn tortillas, top with the coleslaw/mayo mix & provide cilantro & limes on the side. I also use my grandma's salsa rather than the mango salsa & have used Herndez when pressed for time. So my review is just for the pink chili mayo... yum!

These fish tacos put me into a food coma! I live in a small town and good fish is hard to come by but my local grocer has started to stock some fresh fish. Unfortunately Mahi Mahi was not available, I used cod instead. I breaded the fish with bread crumbs from my day old baguettes. These fish tacos were filled with so much flavor I thought I might die.

OMG the Recipe is AMAZING!!!! My Husband and I like fish tacos but haven't found a place that made any that we loved.....So I decide I would try making them myself. After searching for a recipe I decided to use this one. Now the prep. for this recipe does take a bit of time (cilantro leaves but it was WELL worth it. My husband is really one to make noises while he eats but the first bite that he took making mhmmhmmhm noises.....then once done he said they deserved a facebook shout out...lol so thank you Tyler for another Great Recipe, you made my husband and I very happy!

These tacos were outrageous. I never tried making fish tacos before so when I found this recipe from Tyler I knew it would be great. My husband said it was like heaven in his mouth and I certainly agree!

I absolutely love fish tacos. I make it a point to go out to restaurants to find great tasting fish tacos, and I have to say that these homemade ones are right up there with some of the best I've ever tasted. They are so easy to make, and so delicious! Thank you Tyler Florence!
