I have to say these tacos are truly the best, I make them all the time and everyone I've ever made them for have loved them and raved about them! I have tried them with differen types of fish and they are perfect everytime. The sauce is out of this world!!!

We have made this three times now and love it! We used tile fish, sea bass, catfish and shrimp and the shrimp is AMAZING! We've made this for a couple of dinner parties and eveyrone just raves about how these are the best fish tacos they have every had. You can easily cut the chipolte sauce down to half or quarter what it suggests. I've also used low fat mayo and sour cream and no one could tell the difference. You can do a lot of the prep a head time too!

I rarely (if ever deep fry anything because I never know what to do with the oil, but I've been wanting to try this recipe for some time. It was super easy to make and the pink mayonnaise that went along with it had the BEST flavor! I have my own mango salsa recipe that I used but still went very well with this. I will definitely make these again!

I baked the fish to reduce calories, which I'm sure made it dryer than if I'd fried them. But all the flavors together were awesome. My husband thought the chipotle mayo was too spicy, it does have quite a kick, but the Mango Radish Salsa was to die for. It was gone so quick everyone was pillng it up on their tacos. Would be great on it's own to just with chips.

These fish tacos are SOOOOO good!!! The Mango - radish salsa was so yummy we were dipping tortilla chips into it and eating it. The Mahi Mahi is a great fish for this recipe, I would not use anything but that. I have tried other fish taco recipes but this one is the one I am going to use from now on. I loved the panko bread crumbs for this recipe.

Using the flour, egg, water, panko method was new for me and it works perfectly. None of the breading came off! The mango radish salsa was so good I ate it off the spoon. We have plenty of left overs so I'm making it again tomorrow! Fresh Mahi here I come!

Loved the panko crumbs, loved the spicy mayo, loved the mango radish salsa. Loved all of it. This will be a staple at our house for taco night now.

I've been cooking all kinds of things for my family lately, and this is definitely one of the most loved by everyone. Like others have said, using a cheaper fish (I typically have used tilapia works just fine. I only did two things a little differently. First, I omitted the cilantro because someone in my family doesn't care for it (although I think it would have been nice to have. Second, before putting the cabbage out on the platter I put the shredded cabbage in a zipper bag and added the juice of one lime and salt an pepper and shook it up just to give it a little additional flavor, which turned out really nicely. The salsas can be made ahead of time, which helps make the preparation easier. HIGHLY recommended!

Never thought that I would eat a fish taco until I moved from IL to AZ. They are every where here and after trying them, I love fish taco's. I am very very picky about my fish tacos and how they are prepared and taste. I made these tonight and they were fantastic! I did use a tip from another poster (take the seeds out of the chipolte's to cut down on the heat. After mixing up the pink mayo, it still tasted very spicy, but after assembling everything, the heat was not that bad. I did try to cut it down using ranch dressing.
This recipe beats most of the fish taco's out there by far.
The only problem I had is that I have an electric stove, so I could not use an open flame for the tortillas. I used the left over oil to just enough time to make them flexable.
