Tyler your fish tacos are the BOMB! My whole family loved them and ate their fill. This will remain in The GREAT RECIPE BOOK Hall of Fame. Thanks for the great eats!

My very first recipe that I tried from Tyler's Ultimate and it will definitely not be the last. I'm a young beginner cook, mainly cooking for a family of two. I had so much fun making this dinner with my boyfriend, and we loved trying ingredients that we wouldn't normally think would go well together.. (mango, radish?.
We made the dish using flounder as another reviewer had mentioned and it worked out great. An easy fish to cut into strips and batter up for fry. By the way, I had never done a flour station in my life and I liked that part the most.
I thought cabbage was a great alternative to lettuce, and it had a nice bite in contrast to the salsa and sauce.
Now about that salsa and sauce... absolutely addicting. Yesterday I had the leftover salsa with some chips and it was even better than the first time after sitting all night in the fridge marinating in all of those juices. Today I used some of the leftover sauce as a mayo for my sandwich... Will be making more of this stuff to use specifically for my sandwiches! I usually like just a little kick of spice on everything, coming from a hispanic background, and the sauce was the perfect way to do just that. Love Love this recipe and next time I think I'll try it with grilled fish just to see how it works out.
Thanks Tyler. You've gained another loyal follower!

I cannot tell you how much my family LOVES this recipe they request it everyday...LOL. I could not get Mahi-Mahi so I used flounder that was on sale...it was AMAZING. the chipolte mayo is the hit and my kids and my sister put it on everything but the other hit was the salsa. I too added a hothouse cucumber and it made it simply amaxing, light and tropical and the taco was simply out of this world, this is a keeper if you have not tried it DO!!!! Thanks Tyler.

Like the last reviewer, I cannot bring myself to do the fried fish thing. Also, did not give this 5 stars because I did not care for the radish slaw. Instead, I serve this with Pico Slaw (my own recipe which is basically slaw mixed with pico de gallo vegetables and seasoned with lime juice, salt, pepper, garlic powder and cumin. I do more of a blackened fish with Mexican seasonings (salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and cumin. Then we top with that EXCELLENT Chile Mayo!!! My husband doesn't even like fish, but will pick these fish tacos over anything beef or chicken. He even requests them!

Great recipe - especially enjoyed the Chile Mayo, a nice change from plain sour cream. Grilled the fish (couldn't bring myself to use fried fish with all other high-cal ingred., and used w/ Bobby Flay's Throwdown fish taco slaw. Was loved by all!

the recipe sounded good but the flavor combination in it was off the hook delicious. Definately an easy recipe to make and even though I subsituted the fish to talapia it was awesome. The pink chili sauce combined with the mango salsa was just...well you have to try it cause you wont believe how good it is unless you do!!!

This dish was so delicious! I think the pink chile mayo is essential and really makes these tacos special! I want to use the mayo for other things too. I couldn't get mahi mahi so I used tilapia. Even my picky-eater sister enjoyed this dish! Awesome and a crowd pleaser!

I made this for a taco-night party and, oh my lord, my guests highly and visibly enjoyed these tacos ! I got hight compliments and because I'm Mexican they assumed it was my own innate talent! Towards the end of the party and after several margaritas I revealed the truth and gave Tyler credit for putting this recipe out there for us! Delicioso, go for it !
