We threw it out. That was the most disgusting lasagna we ever tasted and that's for 6 people. Prep start to finish was nearly 4 hours. The cinnamon ruined the dish. Never again! The amount is also way way off. We had a 10 pound lasagna and still had sauce and noodles that were left over. So much that the plain left over noodles is what we ate for dinner instead of this recipe

I used this recipe last night for a family gathering and it was a hit! I was a little apprehensive about the cinnamon, but trust Tyler's recipes and went for it. Delightful! Every recipe I've made from Tyler has been fabulous! Must try!

Followed the recipe to a tee--fresh herbs and all- but found the result very bland and even though I used 1 lb hot and 1 lb sweet sausage---does not taste like a good Italian lasagna !!

I don't know how it could take 4 hours to prep this dish. I'd say it took me an hour at the most to get it in the oven, and I'm not a fabulous, experienced cook by any means. I did mess up when assembling it, and didn't use enough sauce, so my lasagna came out kind of dry, still good flavor though. Thankfully, it wasn't for any special occasion, so I'm just improvising and putting some extra sauce on the bottom of the plate. I was nervous about the cinnamon, and felt that it was kind of strong tasting in the sauce by itself, but not when in the lasagna. I think I would make it again.

Delicious. I also had double the Pasta that I needed. Alternatively, I may need to get a 6" Deep pan. My 3" deep pan was overwhelmed.

I would totally skip the cinnamon, or at least cut in half....a little overpowering. All the other flavors were amazing, and it was a huge hit with 5 boys...aged 9, 10, 12, 13, and 42!

What makes this the "ultimate" lasagna, the fact that it makes twice as much as you need? Seriously, its a very basic lasagna recipe, and there's no way all this would fit in even the deepest 13" x 9" pan. The sauce was good; I simmered everything in a pot and then pureed it with an immersion blender.

This was delicious. I loved the addition of the cinnamon. I will definitely be making this again.
