After watching the recipe, I decided to make it to feed hungry grand-sons visiting. However, the way the recipe is written is not the way it was prepared on TV. Foolishly, I followed the written recipe and ended up with way too much lasagna noodles. Not enough layers and too much ricotta cheese for 2 layers. I believe Tyler made it with 4 layers and much thinner layers of meat and cheese. I still think that it might be too much cheese, even with thin layers. The meat sauce was good, but I also added more crushed tomatoes. I like the cinnamon, although my Sicilian friend always uses a cinnamon stick in her traditional sauce instead of powder, I think it is more subtle. I will try it one more time, but will use a much deeper lasagna pan. Oh boy, rather messy!

I watched Tyler prepare this Lasag. on Tv, and I'm glad I did because there is some miswording that is rather confusing. The recipe mentions "meat mixture, and sauce" seemingly interchanging them. It also indicates to place 1/2 of the various components on the first layer, when the recipe calls for four layers.

I loved this recipe. It is a little expensive to make but it was absolutely a good recipe. I followed the directions given by a previous cooker. I had plenty of lasagna noodles felt over. You possibly can get by with one pound of lasagna. And, I used a huge roasting pan.

I love cheese, but I must say, 2 lbs. of Ricotta was a little much for this recipe. The cheese overpowered the taste of everything else.

The bolognese sauce was a nice change from my traditional sauce with mushrooms, green/red peppers, etc. Rave reviews from family. Will definitely make again and again.

I am an experienced cook and can follow most recipes perfectly. The measurements and supposed "20 minute" prep time is so out of line it is laughable. The sauce was thin and ratio of noodles and cheese for a 13 X 9 pan ridiculous. I had to add 12 oz of tomato paste to the sauce and reduce it for an hour to get the desired consistency. The amount of ingredients could have made 2 or more lasagnas. I am pretty disappointed with the outcome. Shame on you, Tyler!

By following the recipe it turned out perfect, it looked exactly like the dish Tyler made. I was not a big fan of the cinnamon and I will leave it out next time. This lasagna was simply wonderful I cannot image ever using another recipe for lasagna
