The lasagna was delicious. It had a delicious cheesy top and lots of cheese throughout. However, we really didn't like the addition of cinnamon at all. I will definitely make this dish again, just will leave out the cinnamon.

A lot of steps! It takes longer than 20 minutes prep between veggie preping, cooking of meat, noodles, etc.
When I made this I left out the wine and cream and didn't food process the veggies - sauted them first then added the meat. I have a slightly different recipe that is named the same as this one????

I only use this recipe for the sauce, and after watching the show, I had to try it. It's hands down one of the best meat sauces I've ever tasted. The cinnamon can really impact the flavor, so if you have a really good quality, strong cinnamon, definitely don't put in more than a teaspoon (we overdid it the first time being serious cinnamon lovers.

Not only were the different flavors absolutely delicious together, but it came out of the pan looking like a professional had created it and photographed it for a magazine!!

I thought this was very tasty, but I must say it's not the ultimate lasagna. I had enough for 2 lasagnas because I didn't use a very large pan like he did on his show.

I was dying to try this recipe when I watched the show a few weeks ago. After the recipe was corrected, I went out and bought all the ingredients. I have to say that I was disappointed. The sauce was okay, but we felt the wine overpowered it. I usually add 4-5 eggs in my lasagna and it makes it firm. This lasagna fell over on the plate, even after I had let it rest. I will stick with my own recipe that we all love. I still love Tyler and will use other recipes of his.

I read the reviews before trying this & it sounded if there had been problems with the recipe but that the recipe had been corrected. I found this recipe to be dry and I guess I like my lasagna to have a tangy tomato sauce with a spicy flavor. I even added double the garlic and added more Italian seasonings but it was still pretty bland. Also it calls for 2 pounds of lasagna noodles. I used a huge pan, cooked only 1 pound of noodles and still had several strips left. I won't make this again.

The newly edited recipe is awesome! It tastes amazing! I made about three more layers than the recipe notes, and I still had a lot of lasagna left over.
It was fairly easy to make, but make sure you have a very large skillet to make everything in.
