I took other reviewer's advice and ditched the cinnamon and cut it in half. The lasagna was amazing, but if I hadn't read the other reviews, I would have been upset after all that time and money to get a bad dish that didn't fit in the pan. I also used dried oregano since I didn't have any fresh on hand.

This recipe is not for beginners, it was time consuming and detailed but the end result is out of this world. I'm from the south and not Italian but this recipe was the best lasagna I ever made, it was well worth the effort. Every one who tasted it loved it and prepare your self because you can really feed a Army and have leftovers. I went out and bought aluminum big roasting pans, because a regular lasagna pan was way to small. Tyler you hit the ball out of the park!!!!!!

Very yummy Lasagna! This approach is very different from the home-style Italian cooking I was brought up on. I saw Tyler make this on his show and decided I would try something completely different and WOW! what a tasty Lasagna. This is not a quick throw together recipe but if you have the time it is totally worth the effort. I had enough meat sauce left over to freeze and served at a later date over regular pasta and that was equally yummy. This is not a beginner recipe but it is easy to follow so take your time and enjoy your end results!!

Wow! What a disaster! I was able to save the dish but It did not go without a lot of foot stomping and vocal atrocities. The portions in the recipe were ridiculous as I soon realized as I opened the meat and was boiling my second pound of noodles. "How the heck is all this going to fit in my dish?! Sent the man to the store to by the biggest pot and deepest biggest pan he could find. Come time to assemble I "dollop" (nice word choice stupid recipe half the huge amount of ricotta, half the meat sauce and half the cheese down in my brand new deep 10 by 15 baking dish. No way was another two layers going to even come close to fitting. With my bare hands I dig the already set layers apart and start all over again. Throw the recipe in the toilet because in my home that is where pieces of @#$@ go. I managed to get a semi-decent lasagna out of it but felt I needed to excuse the overpowering taste of cinnamon to my dinner guests.

I had the half the recipe as the full amount would've been way to much. Took a while to actually put together but it was absolutely delicious. The San Marzano tomatoes actually do make a difference (compared to what we get here in Australia. Will definately be making this again.

The very worst I have ever put together. Too much Ricotta No flavor the ginger over powers the dish I give the recepie a minus 10
