This came out so good my husband ate almost the whole thing! It is a bit complicated to make, but came out excellent. I highly reccommend.

This was delicious! A fabulous treat for yourself or for company. Can't go wrong with this. It is delicious and even better with a nice Chianti.

These were absolutely the best meatballs my family and I have ever
tasted. I served them with pasta rather than the polenta. They are
simple to make too. I will definately
use this recipe again and again!

I made these with top quality ingredients and meat from a meat market, reggiano cheese, etc and .... they looked good but did not have the flavor I expected. These are not the italian meatballs that some old neopolitan grandma makes that taste unbelievable. Also, the half pork creates an oily sauce in the pan. All the people in our house agree that my own meatballs are still the best. I use chuck/pork and veal and put lots of grated cheese in mine. I am interested in any comments.

FANTASTIC!!! I was doubtful about the mushroom/tomato reduction being jazzy enough but it was absolutely perfect for this dish. My daughter took the left over meatballs w/ the polenta back to Chico State with her when she went back home!

My family loves spaghetti and meatballs, but I always think that the meatballs are too dry and plain. This was a great meatball to drop into the sauce and simmer. It was rustic and full of flavor. (I did't make the polenta, but I strongly recommend the meatballs!
