undoubtedly the best roast chicken we have ever prepared. The combination of the herbs, orange, and smoked bacon flavors were excellent and cooked through the chicken for a spectacular flavor.
Plus the chicken was juicy and tender.
I would recommend this recipe to anyone. A great company dinner entree.

Loved the gravy. The chicken was great! Ina Garten's Chicken was my favorite chicken recipe but I think this just bumped it out of the top spot. Tender and juicy. Highly recommend. I've only made it for two. I think it would be hard to stretch this size chicken to 4 people.

I'm stuffed! That was delicious. Very easy to prepare and cook. I agree with the others, the gravy is to die for. LOVE.LOVE.LOVE..this recipe. I've tried a lot of roast chicken recipes, but this will be my permenant one.

This is the second time I have made this recipe and it is scrumptous! The best part was the gravy--we couldn't stop eating it!

I did have a problem stuffing everything inside the cavity of my
5 1/2 lb. chicken and the cooking time. I think there was too much inside the chicken and it was pink inside although the outside was cooked. After all that, the chicken and the gravy were wonderful! Worth the extra time.

I love chicken and eat at least 3 times a week but I get bored fixing it the same way all the time. Tyler's recipe was so easy and absolutely fabulous tasting! The hint of orange and the smoky flavor of the bacon made this the best recipe. Also the gravy was not like anything I have ever made before. Thank you Tyler!! You are the best!

This was so easy and so delicious! I didn't have oregano or thyme so I used tarragon and chives and it was still yummy!!!! My children devoured it as did my husband. It's a hands down winner and no doubt will be made again and again! Thank you TYLER!!!
