This recipe is the BEST and you don't even notice the difference between turkey or beef! I added a 1/2 tsp cayanne as I like a bit more heat!

I love this recipe with beef, not turkey. I think it is too dry with the turkey meat.

It is a basic recipe and I have been making it for two years. Based upon the reviews here is my adjustments: For 1 lb of turkey, I use half a cup of ketchup, 2 tbs of mustard, 1 heaping tbs of brown sugar, salt and pepper, dash cayenne, 2 cloves garlic, 1 onion, 1 tbs tomato paste, 1 dash red wine vinegar.

Its an easy go to meal that my toddler loves. Thanks for the inspiration Tyler

My boyfriend loves this recipe, and trust me he hates turkey burger. We compromise and I do mix it with beef.

Very disappointed in Tyler. It tasted like a ketchup sandwich... Boring.

New family favorite. I always make a double batch. I do use less ketchup and a pinch more cayenne.

Good, but not "ultimate". This is a very basic sloppy joe recipe. Which is not what I was expecting from Tyler. But, it was very easy and it went over well with my family. I didn't find it too ketchupy but I did add a bit more spices to suit my taste, as I always do. I also did half turkey, half ground beef.

I looked at Bobby Flay's recipe and it has a list of around 30 ingredients. No way am I going to go through all of that for sloppy joes. Tyler's fits the bill just fine. I'll definitely be making these again.

Please please please: Halve the ketchup!!! not 3/4.... HALVE! Add more brown sugar and vinegar (adjust BOTH to make it less "gloopy". Basic recipe, a great idea-- but the ingredient amounts are completely off!!! Do NOT add worcestershire, as others recommended. Maybe a little more cayenne, as per your taste. Like most other reviews have mentioned, ketchup is a major issue-- I downplayed it, adding about 2/3rds-3/4ths of the 2cups, when i already added extra chicken, and it was still much too much.
