I watched this episode and had to try it myself. And it was perfect! I normally struggle cooking meat, but I followed this recipe and it worked. Even the apple & raisin sauce was good.
Tyler you just became my favorite cook. I look forward to trying more of your recipes. Thank you!

If I could I would give this 10 stars. Tyler you never fail me, everything I cook using your recipes turn out to be fantastic. I could not wait on the rice though, it is still cooking. lololololololol

I will start by saying that the brine made the meat very tender, and the flavor was really nice. The spiced apples were also good, but the two don't go together. The pork has a distinctive flavor that doesn't mesh with sweet and sour of the apples. This dish might be better with something with a more subtle flavor, like chicken. I would try this dish with a BBQ sauce or something on the pork chops and the apples as a side dish.

Made for the Family and was a great treat enjoyed by everyone including my wifes' co-workers.

I will never cook another pork chop without brining them - so juicy and succulent. Personally, I don't like a fruity, sweet sauce on meat of any type so I went a different direction on the sauce but, oh, those chops were great.

I like this pork chops very much. Very moist. As someone said, I would cut back on the salt. It was too much for our taste. I am going to try again, with less salt.

I loved these chops even though I modified the recipe - Is it really 1 "GALLON" of water?

Overall, these choops were delicious & made a nice presentation. I was most impressed with the tenderness...however, I thought there was just a bit too much salt in the brine & I would cut that back the next time. Trying this brine encourages me to try other brines. Not at all disappointed!
