Excellent recipe!!! The only change made was that I omitted the dark chocolate. Therefore, I didn't bother simmering the coffee either. Highly recommend for quick last minute dessert. Just give it time to set up in the fridge!!!! Thanks Tyler!!

Excellent excellent excellent! This was easy to make and delicious! The hardest part is just keeping up with the whisking of the egg yoke /sugar/ marsala mixture. The end result is wonderful and I made it for a small dinner party. Even the children liked it. The only thing I did differently was to add a layer of lightly sweetened whipped cream to the top and use shaved bittersweet chocolate instead of cocoa powder. My husband has decided he wants this instead of a birthday cake next month! Thanks for the great recipe!

Wow, I was originally intimidated by tiramisu, but this turned out great. I made it for an Italian-themed dinner potluck on NYE and it was the hit of the night. I followed the directions exactly as provided, with a couple minor tweaks.

1 I was worried about the ladyfingers being too soggy, so I used a pastry brush to dip into the coffee/chocolate mixture and brush it on each ladyfinger a few times to saturate. It was great - maintained it's cakey consistency, not soggy, but still absorbed the flavor great.
2 I had some Kaluha laying around, so I added that (and the rum! to the mixture. It tasted wonderful.

    I highly recommend this recipe!!!

This tiramisu is amazing!! I made it last year for a Christmas party and everyone loved it esp. my bf's mom. I enjoyed that little hint of the alcohol in the dish, not to strong but very tasty. I followed the direction word for word and did not have any problems with it. I definitely want to make it again this year.

For anyone attempting to make Tiramisu for the first time, I'd suggest you look up a 'zabaglione' video on youtube. Once you've understood how to go about it, follow this recipe exactly. It's a great recipe.
