Wonderful recipe. I make this for church a lot, so I leave out the rum and it is still delicious. There is never a singel spoonful left. Definitely make it the day before and let it set.

I've tried tiramisu in dozens of restaurants and have made it myself, but this, by far, is the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. It does take some time, but for a seasoned cook like me, it was pretty easy. Well worth the calories. Thanks Tyler for another great recipe!

The best tiramisu. Better than in Little Italy.
I use ricotta instead of mascarpone, it makes it a bit lighter.

I'm always asked to bring this to dinner parties. I tend to play with the liquors depending on what I have on hand and it always turns out great!

I made this for a New Years Eve party and it was a a huge hit. It received rave reviews from guests who are "Tiramisu experts" and have this desert whenever they can. It set up nicely. I agree with others that the alcohol was over powering. That's why I rated this 4 instead of 5. Next time I make this I'll put in half the rum and wine.

the zabaglione sauce even when lightened with whipped cream never set up very nicely. As a result, serving this dessert was gloppy and unattactive. I'll just have to keep looking for a better recipe.

I have tried several of the classic tiramisu recipes from Food Channel. I think this is the best. It has been hard to find a truly traditional version - especially one that includes the Marsala wine. This one tasted fantastic, was easy to make, and had all the flavors I was looking for. Loved it.
