This margarita is sooo deicious and fresh. It makes me warm and fuzzy at first sip. I skipped the beer portion. Really, enough already. This is the go to Margarita on a hot day and now I've become kind of a margarita snob.

This is a very tasty margarita! However, I did add about a cup of water to thin it out a bit.

I guess I'm a purist but to me the ultimate margarita is much more simple. Two parts good tequila (Don Julio for example, 1 part contreau, and the juice of a key lime. That's it.

I recently threw a fajita party and served the "Ultimate Margararita." After the party had dissipated and people made their way home I started to dispatch phone calls from guests having terrible headaches...which boiled down to the margaritas. Do not get me wrong, I used Patron and Dos XX beer so I can not blame it on cheap liquor. The taste was smooth and missed a bit of somethng so I blended the marg's with a lime infused simple syrup. Please drink with caution! Or take two asprin free pain relievers before and after.

If you're a fan of margarita mixes, you won't like this recipe. If you like a "real" margarita, this is the recipe to use. As usual, Tyler creates a winner. I wasn't sure about adding beer, but it works perfectly in this recipe.
