    At first this recipe seemed like way too much work to be worth it (compared to other ice cream recipes. Boy was I wrong...the creamy texture and amazing test is worth the extra work!

    This way takes a little longer and all the cream is a little expensive but it is well worth it. The best ice cream I've ever tasted.

    This recipe is worth all the patience and endurance that it requires. I was amazed that the best ice cream I have ever had (way better than all the brand names came out of my own ice cream maker!!

    This ice cream base was so thick, we could have eaten all of it right from the pot..It was sinfully rich and creamy. I will definitely make this again, with even more flavors. My next batch will be blueberry.

    I'd never fixed ice cream before, pressure was on: ice cream social at the office so I turned to foodtv - easy to follow directions and a great product - thanks Tyler! My cooking time was a few minutes longer than his, but worth the time.

    I think the ice cream was so AWESOMEit threw me for a loop I thought it would be good but it was AWESOME!! If you like ice cream you'll love this.
