I made this last night with bbq ribs and potato salad and it was a huge hit! I didn't use all the greens Tyler suggested instead I used a bag of Spring greens, about 5 leaves from the red vein swiss chard, and the small hearts from the center of Romaine lettuce. The pomegranate were out of season so I didn't have those, but they really weren't missed. Loved the chopped shallot on top too. This is a terrific recipe to use with what ever greens are in season. It's easy to be creative with this recipe.

We made this salad with the Beef Wellington for Christmas Dinner. The salad got as many (or more raves as the beef. So easy to make and soooo flavorful. We used the "spring mix" greens and they were colorful and tender. I've made it two more times in the past week. It was easy to mix up everything except the dressing and take to work. I warmed the dressing in the microwave, before adding it. What a treat !

I've made this several times for company, and I get rave reviews each time. The recipe makes more dressing than needed, I believe. So I make the full recipe and save a quarter of it for another day. It reheats beautifully. When serving it for friends this weekend, the husband said he believed it was the best salad he'd ever eaten! So, it will now be a mainstay menu item for us.

Have made this twice now in the last week for dinner parties. Not knowing what kind of greens people might like, I decided to play it safe and used a mix of fresh spinach and arugula. It was really delicious. I had plenty of dressing left over and was able to zap it in the microwave for use again the next day. The dressing is "to die for"!

When I saw Tyler prepare this salad on television just before Christmas I decided to make it for our family Christmas dinner. At the time there were no reviews so I took a chance and the results were wonderful! Everyone loved the flavors and the presentation. I actually served the dressing, warmed, on the side. Each person added dressing to his/her individual taste. The pomegranate seeds are available in a package so this salad is really easy to assemble. We will have this often!

Decided to make this instead of traditional green beans to go with the Honeybaked Ham we served for Christmas. It was SO easy and SO fantastic! The flavor of the dressing was fantastic and so easy. I'm not sure why you'd want to prep this ahead of time, it takes just miinutes to make and can simmer while you are tending to other things. I did the pomegranate seeds the night before to save time, but did everything else right before dinner. I splurged on a really nice balsamic vinegar and I used swiss chard, endive and radicchio. People ate more of this salad than anything else! Leftovers were saved and eaten over the next few days. Will be a salad staple in our house.

Mmm, I don't know. me, I didn't care for this too much. The greens seemed tough, and didn't really wilt. The dressing was very thick. I did make the dressing ahead and reheated it. I think there was just too much going on. However my husband and nephew really liked it alot so maybe I'll try once more but I'll choose different greens next time. They didn't have a huge selection at our local health food store and I thought the greens for this should be the best I could buy so I used the chard and kale. Maybe my mistake was the kale.

I made this along with the other recipes from Tyler's show. The dressing for the greens was TO DIE FOR. It had just the right amount of sweetness to counter the sharpness of some of the greens. The pomegranate sees, walnuts, cheese and shallots make it elegant and fantastic. I had non-salad eaters asking for THIRDS! This is definately a keeper both from an ease standpoint as well as taste. Tyler...you never let me down!
