A really tasty recipe! I've never been a sweet potato fan, but I tried this recipe out for Thanksgiving this year, and loved it! I took other reviewers' advice and used 3 small bananas, and I was glad I did. Any more would've been overpowering. But the real star is the crumb on top - soooo good!

I made the sweet potato-banana whip the day before, then added the crumb topping right before putting it in the oven. This was a great way to save time and free up the oven for Thanksgiving day. And actually, it tastes even better leftover!

Thanks for another great one, Tyler!

These were so good, and it was so easy! No idea why this says intermediate to make. Made exactly as specified, with the full 4 bananas, but, left out the pecans (I love them, but, the hubby doesn't. Loved the banana flavor in the sweet potatoes! Will definetly be making for Christmas Dinner!

Loved this dish and so did my guests! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I read the other reviews about reducing the banana to 1 or 2. I will probably double the sweet potatoes and use 2 bananas next time. We had 6 people and did not have leftovers. I was craving it the next day!!! Delicious!!!

glad I read the reviews first...one banana is enough. easy to make ahead, keep topping separate and heat together when needed.

This was very tasty and provided an interesting spin on a holiday favorite. Definitely do not use more than 2 bananas as it will overpower the dish if you do. Tyler never disappoints:-

This is the best! I've been making this recipe for years and it's always a hit. I skip the bananas because I am not a fan, and it still comes out delicious!!!
