OMG...it is to die for. I made this dish for Thanksgiving and it was so delicious, I'm making it again for our Christmas dinner. I can not wait for family and friends to try it.

I am not usually a huge sweet potato fan, but I felt like trying this recipe out for Thanksgiving. It was a huge hit! Tyler Florence's recipes have never let me down. I loved that the bananas sweetened up the sweet potatoes without using lots of sugar, so you could take the extra calories or not by taking some of the crunchy topping. The recipe was perfect, I wouldn't change a thing. The only recommendation I would make is to leave a little extra time for yourself to roast the sweet potatoes. Mine took a little longer than anticipated, so it was a good thing I wasn't rushed for time! I will be making this again for Christmas!

The filling to this was wonderful, but I found the topping a little too thick. We ended up scraping some of it off. I will make this again, but will only use 1/2 the topping so that the sweet potatoes and bananas can shine.

I halfed the amount of butter, substituted walnuts, and I only had light brown sugar. Very yummy and so fantastic for Thanksgiving. I really enjoyed this recipe, and I think next time I might try adding more nuts, and maybe try macadamia. : Oh, I also boiled my sweet potatoes for a little bit first in some water that had nutmeg, cinnamon and salt mixed in.

This recipe has become a new Thanksgiving tradition. My 22 year old son discovered it and this will his contribution to the feast for the third year in a row now. Everyone loves it!

My 12 year old daughter saw Tyler make this sweet potato dish last year. Had to make it. She did all the work. Followed the recipe exactly. It was awesome. Will make it again this year. Thanks Tyler.

Great combinaton! All guests were raving about this one. I did add a couple of tablespoons of rum just for fun.
