These brownies have a nice crust and are chewy in the middle. The amaretto flavor is mild and adds a new twist. A new favorite brownie recipe!!

I, unfortunately, experienced the same as some other of the "chefs" who rated this recipe. The top was just lovely but the inside was far from done!!! (aaaarrrrggghh!! I had to take off the top and then cook the rest for what seemed like an hour! I'll definitely make these again, but I hope someone can shed some light as to what I did wrong because I can't. :( Anyway, next time I make 'em, I'll try that larger pan the other viewer suggested.

Tyler said that these would be the best brownie I ever made- it's true. My brother took one bite and said, "this is the best brownie I have ever eaten!"-SO VERY YUMMY- Thanks, Tyler!

I had to leave these in the oven an additional ten minutes, and as such they turned out really dry. Not the best flavor either.

My family owns a kitchen store and we did some fun baking for Valentine's Day and I wanted some easy, yet really good recipes. This one was a huge hit. I will now make this recipe instead of buying a box. It's almost as easy and the taste is out of this world. Thanks for such great recipes.

This was a great receipe, but I didn't follow it exactly. Used more bittersweet chocolate (10 oz, more walnuts, and less amaretto. The first batch didn't bake through, but with my changes they came out perfect.

I followed this receipe to a tee and after 45 minutes, the top of the brownie was cooked but the inside was still very raw. I put it in the oven for another 10 minutes and it just wouldn't cook through!
Even though i was discouraged with this receipe, I tasted a piece of the top layer and it's great!
That being said, can anyone give me some advice as to how I can actually get the whole mixture to cook through?

Best Brownies I have ever eaten! I doubled the amount of Amaretto... but other than that, I followed it to a tee... I will NEVER buy box brownies again... next time, I'll try pecans instead of walnuts... yum, yum yum! Tyler, you are the MAN!!!

I made these brownies and they are really good but they didn't cook fully in that pan size in the time alloted. I've made thousands of brownies over these many years and I think you need to bake this recipe in a 9x13 inch pan and start checking it after 30 minutes to see if it's done.
