Everyone loved this recipe, especially with vanilla ice cream on top. (I could eat the biscuit topping just by itself. As others have mentioned, adding the heavy cream to the flour mixture was omitted in the recipe. I added about one half cup of heavy cream to the mixture in the food processor and gave it a few quick pulses for the dough to pull together. Would also suggest adding one teaspoon of vanilla or almond extract to the peach mixture.

After watching the show, he said you need 2/3 a cup of heavy cream (then more to add on top as the instructions says so for those of you who were wondering how much cream was needed!

If one watched his show, Tyler said 2/3 cup heavy cream with a little extra to brush. A good and easy recipe with peaches being plentyful at this time.

I prepared this recipe about 2 weeks ago just as the fresh peaches were arriving. My family has begged me to make this for them ever since. It was easy and very flavorful. It certainly didn't last long at my house.

Easy, delicious, and perfect texture and taste! As others have noted, make sure you add the cream to the biscuit mixture. For variation, I have used applejack instead of bourbon, and added a handful of fresh local strawberries. Rave reviews from my big Italian family, and we are not commonly dessert eaters, but this was fantastic. Particularly appealing to fruit fans.

I made this cobbler last night and I must admit to being disappointed. It wasn't nearly sweet enough and despite the bourbon, it lacked flavor. It smelled great while cooking, but it tasted rather bland. I think it needs vanilla and it needs brown sugar and more white sugar. I won't be using this recipe again.

Quick easy to make, simple recipe with good directions. TV show included mention of adding other fruits, raspberry goes well with peaches in this recipe. Natural cane sugar sprinkled over the top instead of plain sugar gives it a better look but the taste rocks big. Give it a go, you should not be dissapointed.

After reading the reviews, and having Tivo, I was able to back up on the recipe. After mixing the ingredients in the food processor, but the mixture in a bowl and fold in 2/3 cup of heavy cream and also a pinch of salt. After dropping on the biscuits, brush with 2 to 3 TBL. heavy cream and sprinkle of sugar.
