i had been craving a lobster roll after i saw the episode of tyler's ultimate and knew i would not be going up north any time soon. this was so good. i bought lobster tails and brushed the meat with butter and roasted until just cooked. cooled and removed meat. i added all ingredients by eye and to taste. i used hellman's mayo, very finely diced celery and s&p and folded in with a rubber spatula. add butter to pan and lay hot dog rolls in hot butter (so that inside is opened flat. toast until a little brown and crusty (on inside without breaking the roll apart (the outside of roll is still soft. this was so good. i am trying again today but with good quality frozen lobster.

@beard. I wouldn't question a recipe as critically acclaimed as this one! The Lobster Roll in the Hamptons draws some big name celebs with celery in their lobster rolls. I mean no attitude just love the place =P

Adding celery to a lobster roll is blasphemous. NEVER anything but lobster, a little good quality mayo, touch of lemon juice, and salt and pepper. That's it. Period.

I made these a few weeks ago and they were so delicious. I am even making them again for dinner tonight.. got a good price on lobster tails this week!! My ONLY complaint is that the recipe calls for waaaay too much salt (and I am a salt fiend! My advice, as with ANY recipe, is add salt to taste instead of adding all the salt that is called for in a recipe.

A great indulgence - the only hard part is paying for the lobster.

This was extremely easy and enjoyed by all. I have had many requests to make this one again and I have.
