I have made these twice, and they're always a hit with my husband. I didn't have shrimp this time so, I used a little more of the pork, didn't use the chestnuts or the celery, used scallons & garlic. My husband ate these as he was grilling beer can chicken! He especially liked the dipping sauce. This has been my go to recipe for potstickers. However I am going to try Alton's Perfect Potstckers to compare with these.

These are delicious. Making them ahead of time and freezing them is a great idea that I would like to try. The dipping sauce is great too, the perfect amount of spice. I don't like shrimp so I replaced it with 2 ounces of additional pork. Next time I make this recipe I might try using 2 ounces of ground turkey to add a little variety instead of all pork.

These have been a bg hit with guests. I have also frozen batches with no noticeable loss of flavor or texture.

These are so good, and really pretty simple (aside from making them beautiful like Mr. Yan's, that takes a little practice haha. Serve with some hoisin and Sriracha and you can't go wrong. Anyway, big high five to Tyler for finding the Jedi Master of Asian cuisine and putting that special twist that only he can on the recipe. P.S. I added some chopped shiitake mushrooms and it worked really well.

I have made these many times and they are great!. I prefer to leave out the shrimp and cilantro, to me they are much better that way. But the sauce is a must! You can change the heat level if needed with less chile oil. But we love it hot!

These potstickers were super easy to put together and were so delicious. I tweaked it a bit and left out the celery and water chestnuts and changed the cilantro to parsley. I also didn't make the sauce. Really, really good recipe.

I haven't tried the actual potstickers, but the spicy dipping sauce is outstanding, especially when using aged black soy sauce. I'm sure I'll eventually make this version of potsticker instead of my own, but three cheers for the sauce!

Grand potstickers and sauce. I did add a splash of soy sauce to mixture. This will be my potsticker and wonton mixture! Great flavor!!!
