I had been wanting to make this since June. My husband wanted me to get bottled barbeque. I fixed this today and my husband had nothing but raves about this. The wait for the meat to cook and the flavor is well worth the 3 hours of cooking time. Thanks Tyler!

First off this pulled pork is fantastic. But do yourself a favor and leave them in the over long, a lot longer. They should be cooked to an internal temperature of 190 degrees. That took almost 2 more hours but it's worth it. The pork needs that temp to pull apart nicely and not be tough. You can cover the top with some foil to keep the top from getting too much "bark" or crust.

By far, thIs is one of the best BBQ recipes I have ever tried. I have cooked BBQ many different ways but this was awesome. I let it sit in the fridge over night for about 18 hours and then cooked it for exactly 3.5 hours. The meat pulled very easily. The coleslaw is also a must. Anyone who thinks it was too much of a mustard flavor had to have used way too much. The sweetness of the coleslaw went great with the rich flavor of the meat. Very delicious!!!!

I loved this pulled pork. Based on other reviews, I cooked it longer. My roast cooked for close to 5 hours. Probably 4 to 4 1/2 hours would have been perfect. Loved the crust on the roast. I marinaded it overnight in the refrigerator. This is a great recipe.

I followed this recipe to the tee. Pork was tough and chewy, not falling apart off the bone. I've seen another recipe by Tyler that it took 6 hrs for the pork. Why only 3 1/2 hrs for this one - needs at least 5 to 6 hours if not longer. Slaw was excellent. No recipe for sauce though, even when he had it on the show. I used a Carolina ketchup/molasses bbq sauce which helped.

Pulled pork sandwiches are my favorite, and this is a great recipe! The seasoned pork was even better as leftovers. I am picky about my coleslaw, but I really loved this one! It was easy and so crunchy!! This is a real crowd pleaser!

I followed this recipie exactly, and my meat was very tough and didn't pull at all. I think I'll try it again and roast it for another hour or so.

After reading the other reviews I opted not to make the sauce, but used my own and served it on the side. The meat was so tender and wonderful. I used a bone in roast and it cooked so quickly I had to move it to my crock pot to slow down the cook time. Very moist and the rub really enhanced the natural pork flavor.

Don't think the cooking time is long enough. The pork did not shred the way it was supposed to. Would rather just put the meat in a crock pot with some seasonings and BBQ sauce. It's much easier and the results are always perfect.
