I watched the episode where he made this recipe, and I had to have it. I'm no pro, but I was able to make this recipe without too much difficulty and it tastes delicious! I've made it for my family twice and they loved it.

My grocery store didn't have challah, so I used a hearty cinnamon raisin bread and "staled" it in the oven. It was delicious. Thanks Tyler!

Easy to prepare, easy clean-up, too.

Tasted great for my 70-year old parents and my 7 year old daughter, too!

This was very very good. Mr. Florence has been the most consistently exceptional recipe provider I've tried on food network. I expanded the recipe to fit my 12" cast iron. Perfect for brunch to feed six or so, and very easy. I might try pears next time, as the granny smiths along with the cranberrys were a little tart for me...but I was the only person in the room that felt that way. Thanks Tyler.

My husband made Tyler's Upside Down Apple French toast this morning. I was afraid it would be too sweet, but NO, it was most excellent. The apples were tangy, the cranberries chewy, the pecans crunchy, the french toast creamy and tender. My husband added prosciutto slices over the apple halves so it was savory-sweet. We recently purchased Tyler's Ultimate Cookbook and we are SO happy with it. My husband checks daily for Tyler's Ultimate Show on FN. We couldn't love you all more. Ooh-la-la!

This breakfast was super easy to make and looks SO impressive! I made it for family that I was visiting as a treat and everyone raved over how yummy it was! I had a hard time finding challah bread so I used California sourdough. It didn't sop up as much as the eggs as the bread on Tyler's show but it still was an ok consistency. On the reciepe it says to cut the apple into halves. On the show, Tyler made the "cheeks" on the apples which is better for this reciepe.
