OMG!!!! We just loved this dish, I felt like we was eating out in a restaurant, without spending all that money, definitely must do this again, and anyone that hasn't tried it, please do so, because it's delicious.

To enhance the chicken, do not preseason the wings with salt and pepper. Instead, add to the 2 cups of flour the following: scant one tablespoon table salt, one half tablespoon baking powder, 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder, 3/4 teaspoon ground white pepper. Add the paprika, if you wish. Then follow the recipe as given.

I've made the bbq sauce time and time again. It is absolutely gorgeous! I haven't tried making the fried chicken, but I'm sure it's lovely, too.

I forgot to buy liquid smoke but I had smoky paprika, which I used instead. My teenage son decided sugar was poison so I substituted 1 Tablespoon of agave liquid for the brown sugar in this recipe and it was absolutely DELICIOUS!! He also won't eat fried foods so I put salt, pepper and garlic powder on the chicken wings and broiled them for 30 minutes, turning them over after 15 minutes. I poured the sauce over them and served them. They were absolutely fantastic. I saved the leftover sauce and used it later that week. Highly recommended.

To the lady who wants to remove fat, try this. Place wings on a baking sheet lined with foil and bake wings first at 350 for 25 min. This will get all the fat out. Then deep fry for 3 min.

I first season my wings before baking with Emeril Creo Seasoning. You can find the recipe on his web site.

    They are excellent.

I've made this recipe 3 times now since seeing it on Food Network a few months ago. I've made the sauce 6 times (love it on ribs.

My only suggestion is to find lean wings. The ones at my local grocery are very fatty and they did not come out that great the first time. Next time I made them I trimmed the fat off the wings almost making a "lollipop". THEY WERE FANTASTIC!!

This recipe also works great with chicken tender pieces. My son loves them..

My family LOVED these wings AND the bbq sauce.

I did add more house seasoning to my flour and wings but overall I will prepare these again!

This recipe is absolutely spectacular. My boyfriend and I saw the show and even though we'd just ate dinner, our mouths watered. I promised I'd make them the coming weekend. It was awesome!! He raved and raved about how fantastic they were... best we've ever had. The sauce that was leftover has an even more fabulous flavor after being refrigerated for a couple of days. It'll be great on pork burgers, salmon, darn near anything... Way to go! This recipe kicks serious butt!!

This recipe ROCKS! This gets 10 stars!! I went out and bought the ingredients needed for this recipe and FORGOT the drumettes!! Not wanting to make another trip to the store I used the chicken tenders I had in the freezer and they came out great! I can?t wait to make these again but next time using the drumettes!! I can see why Eboni won this category...
Congratulations Eboni and thanks for sharing???

The Sauce was amazing. I've never used mango's before, did not enjoy peeling or cutting it up, but it was worth the work and mess. The Fried Chicken was excellent. I used chicken legs instead of drumettes it worked great. The double batter and breading makes a big differences. Thank you for sharing this special recipe!
