Adding flax seed meal to any cookie mix is a great way to add fiber and "healthify" the cookies for a little less guilty pleasure. Check out my take on a healthy chocolate chip cookie: Healthier-Chocolate-Chip-Oatmeal-Cookies on Hubpages

After reading the reviews, I was concerned about this cookie and wether or not it was going to be soft and chewy or big and cakey. There were mixed reviews, some said one way others said the other way. Im not sure if I did something wrong, or not, but for me these were big and cakey. They had awesome flavor, but my husband only likes the flat chewier cookies. If you like sweet, cakey cookies these are perfect for you! Unfortunately for us, this is not our type of cookie. Took way longer than 12 minutes to cook also. Good Luck

I'm Radical Rob's Brother...Kevin, yes Food netwook messed up his recipe...use 1/2 of white sugar and these are the best cookies ever and will not turn hard as a rock the next day. I wonder when Food Network is going to fix this.

i was looking for a choc chip cookie recipe and thought id try this because it came from the ultimate recipe showdown. i followed the recipe except used 1 cup of sugar. and although the cookies looked so beautiful and tasted delicious, it was still too sweet. im still keeping this recipe and only using a 1/2 cup in the future. all in all, im glad i came across it! i truly believe this is even better than the toll house cookie! im a big fan. i just need to cut the sugar out a lil bit more from the original recipe. thank you!

I'm glad I read some of the reviews so I knew to reduce the amount of baker's sugar.
I really loved the taste of this cookie.

i can't wait to have the guts to put the full 2 cups of sugar, because these are really nummy! People have said they are too crunchy after a day but if you store them with a slice of bread, the bread will absorb the oxygen and the cookies retain there of "out the oven" squisheeness.
