I used spinach instead of argula and it came out great. The alfredo sauce receipe is also very good. I am not a very experienced cook, but I found this receipe to be easy to follow.

The sauce had excellent flavor, but I found it to be extremely thick and sticky. I thinned it several times both with 1% milk and with pasta cooking liquid, but it just thickened up again. Did I do something wrong? I think I will try it without the flour next time. Most of the other recipes for Alfredo sauce don't seem to require any thickening agent. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.

i am a person who ALWAYS uses jar sauce (and ALWAYS has to spice it up. The sauce was fabulous - smooth, not too cheesy or heavy. The shells were simple to make. Brought leftovers into work - everyone loved it!!!

Note: the filling does make enough to fill many more shells than the recipe calls for.

The alfredo sauce is as good as I've ever eaten. Really, really good - and a Georgia girl to boot!

My husband and I LOVED this dish! We are big on Italian food and my husband told me this is the best dish I've ever made and said it was better than our favorite Italian restaurant.

I saw that the note at the bottom said that the recipe made too much filling so I reduced the amount of ingredients I used for the filling (since I was only cooking for two I also didn't use cherry tomatos, but a can of chopped tomatos. I also added a little garlic salt to the sauce and instead of using Argula I used Spinach.

I used char-grilled chicken from the freezer section. I sauteed it with the garlic and added some mushrooms. Couldn't find the jumbo shells, but the manicoti shells worked just fine. I slit the shells down the side and just wrapped them back up. That was a lot easier that trying to stuff them. This meal is my family's favorite.. Everyone wants seconds!

Just made this dish and it was delicious! Substituted spinach for the arugula. Added about 3 cups instead of 2. Using the rotisserie chicken is great. Couldn't find the really big shells, so used jumbo and filled 21. Also added a little extra parmesan and salt to taste to the alfredo sauce. Put half in the freezer (without tomatoes before baking to have another time. Will definitely make this one again.
