Well, good idea in theory... guess it really is a matter of taste. Personally, I ended up not liking the cornflakes crust. I love cornflakes, but this came out tasting weird. Followed recipe to a "T", but even after spraying the castiron pan with cooking spray, the bottom part of chicken was hard and hard to get out of the pan. They should put a disclaimer on here: taking a castiron pan out of a 375 degree oven after 40 minutes, even with a potholder will burn your hand. My poor husband burned his hand so badly, he had to ice it for hours afterwards. The taste itself was just soso.

We loved it! Like the lemon. I actually let the chicken breasts sit in the buttermilk mixture for about 15 min hoping it would give more of the lemon flavor and it did. Since the seasoning came off the chicken. I sprinkled it on the corn flakes. It's a keeper! Thanks Bobby! Love your family!

Very tasty. I would crush the cornflakes a bit next time I make this dish. I think the calorie count on this is wrong, however. A plain, baked chicken thigh is over 200 calories.

I was trying to find a great recipe for mock fried chicken for a diabetic family member. I went as far as to try to trick him into thinking this was the "real deal". He took ONE bite and said, "All I can taste is cornflakes!" So he took off the breading and just ate the chicken thighs. I won't be making this recipe again!

I really liked this recipe. The only reason I gave it four stars is because of the lemon. I really did not like the lemon at all. I think it would've tasted more like fried chicken without it. Otherwise it was very crispy like fried chicken.

My whole family love this chicken, the taste was great the only thing that I did differently is that I did not have any hot sauce so I used organic cayenne pepper but other then that I will be using this recipe for life. I does taste like fried chicken but without of the calories that goes with fried chicken.

Loved this recipe. Went great with Weight Watchers. My neighbor was raving about his wife's traditional fried chicken. He could not stop eating mine. Only tip I can offer is to get the corn flakes very fine. Soak in buttermilk a few minutes.
Our new family favorite. Even picky son ate every bite.
