Followed the recipe as written. I had to CHISEL the mess out of the pan. Guess I'll just use it as vanilla sugar, but I'd like to know what I did wrong????

I heard 6 cups of white sugar, its that correct or not, please let me know right amount. this recipe I would like to try it tomorrow. thanks

I heard 6 cups of sugar too.... what gives? This really sounds terrific to try, but I need clarification..... please.... thanks

The recipe says 3 cups sugar. I thought I heard her say 6 cups of sugar!?? Great idea for sure, but so much easier to just add the vanilla beans into sugar and stir and save for use...in your coffee or like to add my vanilla sugar into my cake and cookie recipes!! I'll try this one of these days. I didn't care for the fact that they didn't finish showing the recipe thru completion.
