I've had same problem as some others. Recently, the dip has come out clumpy. Have not changed bowls, microwave or way of making. Taste is ok but hardens quicker and does not look right.

Going to have to disagree with many of these posts. I have made this queso dip many times and it's delish!!!! Feel like I'm south of the border just eating it!

I bought the new Queso Blanco and was very dissapointed with it, no flavor even after adding other ingredients, the rest is going in the garabage. I like the regular Velveeta but this was horrible my meal was a waste. Sorry Kraft.

After seeing the complaints on Velveeta, I found an alternative at the grocery store that worked great. It was called Queso Melt. Super creamy & stayed smooth. I live in the South so I'm not sure if it's everywhere, but if you can find it, try it out! Yummy, quick & crowd pleaser.

I have had recent difficulty making this recipe I have used for years. Recently it hardens immediately . I have tried adding milk and/or more liquid from Rotel than usual as I didn't use all of it before. have tried both in microwave and crockpot. Anyone else having the same problem? Any suggestions other than contacting Kraft? Thanks.

Cleburne 83, I also had this problem during the holidays. Tried it twice and both times it came out the same. I have been making it the same way for as long as I can remember and the last two times with the same results. E-mailed Kraft to see if they made changes to the product but haven't heard back.

I have made this dip for years. The last 3 times I've made the dip, it stays lumpy and looks clabbered. I have added milk, stirred every 2 minutes and I am baffeled. It tastes OK, but just not the same. The only thing that I have changed is a new microwave. It is the same wattage as my old one. Anyone else have this problem?

my boyfriend absolutely loves this! we're making it again today for memorial day. the last time we made it, i personally thought that it was a little too runny for my taste. this time i make it, i'm going to drain half of the juice in the rotel so that it's a little bit thicker. will definitely do this again at the next gathering. cheap and really easy.

I've made this for years, sometimes substituting jarred salsa for the Rotel. I always add browned ground beef, well drained, because that's how my family likes it. When I made it for a graduation party about 15 years ago, there were kids eating it out of cups with spoons--it was the HIT of the party.

Regardless of if its "gourmet" or "high class" this is a very easy and tasty queso dip. It is not greasy or flavorless. In fact, this is one of the higher flavored quesos I've had. My family has made this for years and everyone I know loves it. The Food Network isn't all about high dollar menu items. This is budget friendly and I guarantee mostly all will love it.
