- 2 bunches watercress, leaves only, roughly chopped
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- Dash hot pepper sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, preferably homemade
In a blender, combine the watercress, sour cream, lemon juice, tabasco, salt, and pepper. Puree until smooth, then transfer to a bowl and stir in the mayonnaise.
