Like many readers, the thought of watermelon and onions did not sound appealing but I was so shocked and pleased. My cousin made this salad for our family reunion and it was a big hit. Love it! 09-18-2010

My husband loves it, and isn't a fan of watermelon. My 3 year old loves it too!
I used dried oregano and put it in the dressing, works great!

I made this for company last night and everyone loved it! I was not sure about
the combinations of watermelon and olives but hey cantaloupe and procuitto works.
    Will definitely make again.

The thought of watermelon, vinegar and onion didn't sound very good, but a friend served it as a side dish and we were all amazed! I've made it many times since, but prefer to use white balsamic instead of white wine vinegar.
This is a very refreshing salad on a hot summer day.

I had surprise guests ambush me tonight, so I whipped this up with what I had on hand (dry oregano works just fine. Several avowed watermelon haters were SHOCKED at how WONDERFUL this tasted. Simply superb!

There's only 2 of us, so we always struggle to finish a whole watermelon, and this was a perfect way to do it!! The olives, the cheese, the fruit, the dressing...perfect and beautiful!!
