Ingredients
- 2 pound bunch kale
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
Directions
Wash, trim and chop the kale. In a large pot heat oil and lightly saute garlic. Add kale and chicken stock. Cook covered for 12 minutes.

So simple & so good. Made this tonight with a mixture of kale & collard greens & everyone loved it. I also used vegetable stock for the benefit of the one vegetarian in the group & it was just fine. If you haven't cooked with these greens before, both need to have the rib (stem removed, but otherwise, super easy, quick, tasty & healthful.

I'm new to Kale so this recipe was not very informative. I didn't know that the stems were too tough to eat, so when it said trim the kale I didn't know that meant to cut the stems out. It also didn't say how long to cook the garlic or at what temperature. Other than that the recipe is simple, and very good, but it could have definitely been written better.
