This is a good cookie. I did mine for about 10 mins and then they were chewy so time might depend on size. They were easy and good.

The maple syrup was an interesting ingredient in these cookies and it really brought out the flavor. I actually preferred these without the pecans, though. The first batch I made I forgot the pecans, but I think they were better than the 2nd batch with. There is almost too much going on with the nuts in them. Everyone in my family prefers the first batch to the one with the pecans. I will definitely make these cookies again. Thanks so much!

Very basic ingredients that you will find in your pantry with easy preparation time. I was kind of skeptical about the mayple syrup but to my surprise, I have to say, is the best oatmeal cookie I have ever made. I can't see using any other recipe and can't wait to tell my baker friends to try this one

The cookies came out nicely, however they seem to be missing something; maybe almond extract, more chocolate chips, less oatmeal, not really sure. I found that keeping the cookies truly walnut-sized, they still needed a little more than 9 minutes. The nicer cookies were made a little bit larger and cooked closer to 14 minutes. I also think they have a little too much white & brown sugar. I would cut it to around 1/3 cup each. I also like a few more nuts added. Walnuts work nicely.

I really enjoyed making and eating these cookies. If you want and alternative to the same old Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe this is the one for you. It was so easy to follow the recipe. Anyone can make these cookies turnout perfect everytime. The sweet smooth flavor from the Maple syrup will satisfy your sweet tooth. It did mine. I will make these a regular treat around my house.

I made these over the weekend and they were crispy and chewy and wonderful. I love to bake but do not have the best luck with cookies....mine tend to spread out like thin pancakes. These did not! I will make these again and again experimenting with various nuts and chips for variety.

They were flat, and fell apart even when I cooled them completely before removing them from the baking sheet.

Great taste, but in first attempt the oats were large and harder than I like. I put the oats through a food processor first, and they are perfect. I also tried melted chocolate in place of chocolate chips and got great, chewy cookies.
