We enjoyed this recipe very much. I used one bag of-shredd red cabbage and one of regular coleslaw. Worked great. In couldn't find the Spicy chili sesame oil went to 3 stores including Trader Joe's so settled for Toasted sesame oil and added several shakes of crushed red chili flakes. We ate it after 6 1/2hrs. It was great but I would have added more sesame oil and chili flakes because we like spicy. Do try this recipe it is great!

My new fave cole slaw. i did not have any sesame chili oil so I added sesame seeds and some chili powder to some olive oil. It was awesome!

This was so easy and so good! I made it the night before as instructed and used light mayonnaise - it is great! I will definitely make this again! I look forward to making this a regular summer side dish as well as a winter pick me up.

we've made this nearly a dozen times cuz we loke it so much. have also passed along several copies to those that have requested it. a great combination of flavors, works well with ribs/chicken/pork.

Wonderful recipe. Couldn't find chili pepper sesame oli so I mixed a little chili oil and a little sesame oil. Has a bit of a chinese flavor to it. My husband can't wait for me to make it again.

I serve this dish whenever I need a typical "cole slaw" replacement, like for BBQs. It's got a tremendous flavor, and I like to punch it up with a little more hot oil in addition to the hot sesame oil.
Take the time to prepare it the night before as the recipe states -- the flavor is MUCH better after it has had a chance to blend a while.
