I was looking on line for a recipe for buttermilk since I had so much leftover after making Irish Soda Bread yesterday. I came across this Oven Fried Chicken and thought I would try it. I omitted the hot sauce and took advice from a previous review and added Paula Deans house seasoning to the panko bread crumbs..I did also have to bake at least an hour BUT it was incredibly delicious. Thank you Sandra Lee!

My family really enjoyed this chicken. I took the skin off of my chicken and used legs and thighs. It was very tasty and had a nice crispy texture. I would definitely make it again. Thanks Sandra for another great recipe!

OMG, that was some of the best chicken we have ever ate. It has a good favor and was very moist. We would diffently try this again. That whole family loved it.

It was a easy dish to prepare, but it took about an hour cooking time instead of 40 minutes. I used a Kroger brand bread crumb it was not as brown as i would like. I even put the oven on broil i still did not get what i expected. The chicken did taste good though. I let it merinate in frig. for about 6 hours. If i make again i will us the Panko crumbs.

Terrific, alternative way to healthier "fried chicken". Very easy to make. I followed the recipe exactly, plus 1 more seasoning (paprika to the panko crumbs/cayenne/salt & pepper and the chicken turned out great! Even with the skin removed from my drumbstick and thighs, the panko baked on beautifully, adding a nice crisp to the pieces. Will definitely make this dish again. Thank you!
