Absolutely delicious. The sauce is so tangy and spicy, we loved it! I can't tolerate raw onions on my burger, so these carmelized onions were the perfect accompaniment. These touches, along with broiling/toasting the buttered buns made this burger extra special.

I made these for Memorial Day. They are FANTASTIC! The meat flavors just glide into the grilled onions and the special sauce with such ease that every bite amazes you with wonderful bursts of flavor. I absolutely love Brian's recipes. He gets it right everytime! I have noticed that many other chef's recipes though good, are always lacking a little flavor or need adjustments of some sort. Brian's are reliable-I know I won't have to fiddle around to perfect it AND I know they will be outstanding not just okay. BRIAN-I love the flavors in each recipe I have tried of yours.Your show needs to be on MORE AND YOU SHOULD BE FRONT AND CENTER!!! I hand copy every one of your recipes into my foodie notebook with great pride and admiration.

Wonderful and easy ideas for boosting a burger. The mustard onions were awesome. Makes you wonder why Brian is the only one to think of this! Well, thank goodness for Brian. We will be using this recipe often.

Wow! This was a great hamburger! I didn't have regular hamburger buns so I used some sour dough bread instead - grilling it first before I constructed the burger. All the flavors melded so well! I added a little avocado to the toppings as well. Plan to make it again and again! Husband enjoyed it as well :-

These were great - I love the idea of the mustard with the onions. But 1/6 pound burgers? I'm a big eater... I made them 1/4 pound burgers instead. Other than that, perfect!

Getting the ground sirloin and chuck was easy, but to get the ground brisket I had to buy a brisket and have them grind a pound of it. Since I now had 3 pounds of meat, I mixed equal parts of each and made the other 2 pounds into burgers and froze them and will pull a recipe for brisket to use the 3# piece I have left. I'm glad I went to the trouble to get the brisket since the mix is sooo tasty. I only used 1/2 tablespoon of the hot sauce since I don't like spicy and it added good flavor and was fine. I also like the potato hamburger buns-had never used them before but they are hardier than regular buns and are very tasty. The only other thing I changed was the size of the burger. Dividing 1# into 6 burgers is really small-esp. once they're cooked. I did 3 oz. for my burgers and 4 for my husband.

I just had to try this after seeing Brian's show this morning! His grilled onions with mustard were delicious, certainly put a nice spin on that. I made his secret sauce but didn't have hot sauce. It was so good I kept licking the spoon.

Also, I always seem to burn my burgers so having a time for the first side and then the second side helped me get a good medium burger, slightly pink in the center with the fresh ground beef I had.

Keep up the good work, Brian, you are so funny! And your recipes make me want to go right to the kitchen and try them!
