This is a great recipe. I've made it on numerous occasions and always get lots of compliments. My one suggestion is to go easy on the ground cloves. Go light and add more to taste. The cloves can easily overpower this dish if you're heavy handed on the spices.

Very good. Marinated the chicken in tequila/lime Lawry's marinade for 6 hours, and also added a tablespoon of lime juice into the chicken broth step. Will defnitely make again soon!

I don't care for chili but I keep trying, hoping I'll acquire a taste for it -- or find a recipe I like. Have tried whites, reds and everything I could find. This is it. THIS chili I like. A lot.

I think it's marinating the chicken in lime and tequila that makes the difference. I'm looking forward to serving the chicken for dinner sometime -- without the chili.

We ate a similar chili at Ruby Tuesday's restaurant and found this recipe to be pretty close. We make it faster by using canned beans and make it cheaper by using Lawry's Tequila Lime marinade instead of buying real tequila. The bottled marinade actually seems to add more flavor than the real stuff. All in all, a PERFECT recipe for white chili!

I follow the recipe to the T except that I use canned beans. It is fantastic! My only suggestion would be to add more than 1 cup of cheese at the end to help thicken and who doesn't like more cheese?

Super flavors in this chili - followed the comments/suggestions here, to cube chicken and marinate overnight in a ziploc bag. Increased the cheese added to the chili as well. EXCELLENT!!!!
